Service 02

Roof Causation Reports

Specialist roof inspection and causation analysis. Storm or impact damage must be distinguished from age-related deterioration, improper installation, and deferred maintenance, all of which can present similarly to the untrained eye. Monarch's roof reports make that distinction clearly and defensibly.

Causation Considerations

  • Storm, hail and wind impact characterisation
  • Foot traffic and mechanical damage
  • Corrosion and material fatigue
  • Ridge cap pointing deterioration and bedding failure
  • Installation defects and non-compliant work
  • Minimum pitch compliance (AS 1562.1, AS 2050)
Aerial drone roof imagery

Single, multi-level, and high-rise inspections available. Multi-storey and high-rise roofs assessed via expert drone imagery where roof walking is unsafe, impractical, or restricted by access.

Service 03

Scope of Works & Estimates

Estimates must be structured so that a builder can quote accurately without calling for clarification. Every category is labelled by room or area with dimensions. Line items specify elevation. Prelims, insurances, and mandatory items are always included.

Estimate Structure

  • 1. Area of damage categories (Room/Area + Dimensions)
  • 2. General items (waste, skip bins, hire equipment)
  • 3. Preliminaries (Supervision, Furniture Removal, Floor Protection)
  • 4. Insurances (QBCC, GST removed)

Moisture Investigation

Service 05

Escape of Liquid
